Why work with Mahalia?
Because she has lived it. Mahalia grew up in the Interior of North West Guyana amongst the Indigenous people of Region One, where she learned from childhood that the earth provides everything the body needs. Long before she held a coaching qualification, she was learning from her grandmothers, her mother, and the land itself.
What she calls "bush medicine" is something Western women might recognise as herbal and plant-based healing: using roots, leaves, barks, and spices as natural remedies for everyday ailments. It is the same wisdom that underpins her holistic approach today, combined with her formal training as a Certified Health Coach and specialist in perimenopause and menopause support.
She navigated her own perimenopause journey, the symptoms, the confusion, the appointments that left her feeling unseen, and came out the other side with a mission. No woman, wherever she is from, should have to ride these waves alone.
